Grand Opening for the Copperhead Lodge and the Shop at Copperhead (bike shop). This is going to be a fun event. I plan to be there so I hope to see ya'll there too.Here's the info...
On Saturday April 14th The Shop will be celebrating our grand opening along with Copperhead Lodge.
There will be a battle of the bands featuring some great local bands! J.B. Walker and the Cheap Whiskey Band will close out the day! This event is free. There will be lots of food too. GATES OPEN AT 10am AND JB WALKER TAKES STAGE AT 5pm

All day long. I'll recheck with the guys though and find out the specifics. You can come after work Cherry. At least Wil has the clothes to fit in. LOL And the FIL is there to babysit the kids so now you have no excuse.God makes the lightning Bikers make the thunder

Guess I'll be seeing you there Pamac. That's great. I have a list of their concert series coming up and will be posting it soon. Not a bad price either for these concerts. They average about $20-$30 per concert or you can get a season pass for $160. More on that later.

Unfortunately Mac, that is out of reach at this time in my life. I've been working some but raising pc is an expense. He has needs and wants that take front and center to mine at the moment. I dont mind riding on back or whatever you call it. I cant call it what I usually do cause it would be deleted but you know what I mean. I have enough friends who ride that I can ride any time I want. All I need is my bucket, my leather, and my friends.

pcm, I'm not able to get another scooter right now, either.  You are lucky that you have friends that don't mind someone warming their backseat. It's not the same as your own ride, but it's the next best thing.

Deb got her scooter for less than 3k an it keeps up with us just fine. Even on Richard Russell she didn't hold anyone up. By this fall she will trade up to a Silver Wing.

Bumped to the top. This is what we're doing today but it looks like we'll be better late than never. Also looks like we might get wet but hey we're die hard. We sure wont melt.

Pc and I had a great time at the Lodge yesterday. The only time we got wet was right before JBWalker and the Cheap Whiskey band came onstage but it stopped while he was playing. We both got his autograph and pc got an autographed CD. He has this big ole hound dog that he kept in his limo but when he would take him out to pee, that big dog dragged his butt all over the place. LOL The only problem either one of us had with the whole Battle thing was that there were only 3 bands battling. That really ticked me off cause I know several of my band friends tried to get in only to be told that they were booked. Because of that I expected a lot more bands to be battling. Lots of bikes and lots of cars there too. The place was packed. Most stayed up at the Lodge during the concerts so if you see pics of the crowd and it's small just remember I told you the people were up at the Lodge watching. Not many of us down at the stage. Oh yeah we also were backstage mingling and having fun with JB and the rest of his band and their women.

3 bands..hmmmm, bet there was several disappointed people! There were some that came in at work talkin' about going to that, so yeah with all the advertising, you'd think there would be more than 3..???
