What time does it start. Paper says 11:00 but I now hear 10:00am

As far as I know it's always started at 11am. I'd go more by the paper than hearsay.

Also of interest from the Blairsville Jaycees website:

-Parade Theme is “FAVORITE THINGS” (Think like a child and use your imagination.)
-To be judged you must be at the old middle school gym with your completed float, by 9:00 AM.
-No registration fee
-No applications will be sent out this year, we will sign you up as you arrive.
-Judging will begin at 9:00 AM sharp.

Scoring for the floats goes as follows (100 possible points):

- PARADE THEME: (Maximum 40 Points Awarded)
How well the float design concept adapts to the parade theme.
- ORIGINALITY: (Maximum 15 Points Awarded)
The creativeness and originality in the float design concept.
- WORKMANSHIP: (Maximum 15 Points Awarded)
The craftsmanship in the float creation. Detail in design and creation of float objects with the effective use of colors and materials
- ANIMATION AND SPECIAL EFFECTS: (Maximum 15 Points Awarded)
Incorporation of motion and sound on and alongside the float.
- GENERAL EFFECT IN PRESENTATION: (Maximum 15 Points Awarded)
The overall effective presentation of the float.

Pg. 9 of the special section of the NGN has the parade at listed as starting at 10:00am. I knew I was not crazy! lol
But I did speak with an organizer directly and confirmed it does begin at 11:00am AND not 10:00.

I think so too Maddy and ditto on the peeking at lil Spammer.lol!

The kids are excited about the parade and the sorghum festival being at Meeks Park.. lilun said.. Neeks Park gots the playground.. hehee!
