Blue Mountain Bluegrass Jam
Kiwanis Fairgrounds, Blue Ridge

Friday nights enjoy a free Bluegrass Jam. 6:30 - 9:30. If you play you are encouraged to join in,
For more information call Mike or Jetta Brennan at 706-258-2736

Inside, chairs provide or bring your own. 6:30 to whenever.

We were in the music store this weekend getting lilred's dulcimer tuned and buying picks. They said that it's free and everyone should come. In a few more Friday's they will be at the Morganton Music Park until they couldn't have it outside anymore.

There were a couple of banjo pickers in the store tuning up and it sounded great, made me start tapping my toes and looking for someone to swing around.

I have told hubby for the last 2 years I wanted banjo lessons and he keeps putting me off, but I will keep on him until he pay's for it. ;)

I was there this past Friday and a couple weeks ago, too. Good family fun. Even let a little one sing; it was so cute to see her singing her heart out with all those musicians backing her! There are some really good musicians in this area!

I plan on going, it's free and you can't beat it for good, clean fun.
