Knife craftsman, Roger? As far as I know there are not any, but I really have not paid attention the last few years. AS long as your item is hand made and approved by the Booth Committee, then you can get a booth. There are different types of booths also for crafts. There are booths in the Fort itself and then there are booth spaces available inside and in front of the Civic Center. Don't know what the prices for booths are anymore, but could find it out for you. If you want, I can call for the information for you if you are interested. Just let me know what information you actually need.

Do any of you know where the horses are supposed to meet, and what time they will be lining up?

I will be riding in the parade along with with my best bud, Starr.

Everybody meets at the old Middle School gym on Saturday morning. Parade should start at either 10 or 11 I'm not sure.

Electra...in past years, the riders and their horses have met up at the Elementary School on the hill above the old gym.

After the parade, you oughta head down to the Saddle Club...last show of the season. They always start later (or did when we were active members) on parade day, because so many that show also ride in the parade. :)

I was wondering if it had been moved back up to the elementary school lot. I rode in it a couple of years ago and they sent the horses to a dirt area that was across from the greenhouse that is/was below the middle school. Mom said that there is a building there now.

Are there any gaited/paso classes or fun classes at the saddle club show?

Electra, here's a link to the classes...
http://wind-riderstables.com/ucsc.html#Classes%20&%20Entry%20Fees

I just spoke with the VP's wife, and she told me that sign up would begin at Noon, instead of 11:00 as stated on the website.
They will also be giving away a Roping Saddle at Saturday's show. They've been selling chances on this all season, and will continue to do so up until the break(?) on Saturday...$1.00 each or 6/$5.00.

Bring something with long sleeves if y'all are coming to the festival. The weatherman is predicting a high of 61 for Friday, and a high of 65 for Saturday. You just know that the parade weather Saturday morning is going to be pretty nippy!
